I am a Jets Fan, and I have spent over 1000 hours working on this perfect 6 round mock. This is the 56th version. I am sure that you
will appreciate my hard work, and consider writing a comment. Thank you & Enjoy!

FIRST ROUND
-----------------------------------------
(1) 1. Texans- TRADED TO: The 49ers
The 49ers: Reggie Bush RB, USC

Heisman Trophy and the Most Talented Offensive Player in
this years draft. The Texans almost took Bush but then
decided that rationally their needs were more than just
a star RB so they trade the pick to the 49ers for additional
picks this year and next year. The 49ers get the team-up
last seasons 1st overall pick QB Alex Smith with his
high school team mate Reggie Bush and also add that explosive
offenive player that this team has been missing for a long time.

(2) 2. Saints- TRADED TO: RAIDERS
RAIDERS: Matt Leinert QB, USC

The Saints don't really have a Need at DE or at OT after
taking a 1st round OT in last years draft. AJ HAWK is
certainly worthy of a top 5 pick, but when studs like
The Golden Child, Da' Brick, & SuperMario are still on the board
the answer is simple...trade the pick to the highest bidder.
Matt Leinert is arguably the most accurate college QB to
ever come out of college. Former Heisman Trophy Winner, Former
NCAA Champion...and California Star. The Raiders are in need
of a QB after signing A.Brooks who is past his prime,
to a short term contract.

(3) 3. Titans- D'Brickashaw Ferguson OT, VA.

With Leinart off the board the Titans take a serious look
at Vince Young...but he could be a bust. The only SURE thing
in this years draft is Da'Brick Ferguson...he will be a
perenial Pro-Bowler and anchor the Titans line for over a decade.

(4) 4. Jets- Mario Williams DE, NCST

Mario Williams is the best DE prospect to come out since
Julius Peppers, and thats better than Dwight Freeney...therefor
would give the JETS the best DE in the AFC. Bryan Thomas is a
BUST, and won't work in a 3-4 D.

(5) 5. Packers- A.J. Hawk LB, OSU

The Packers were taking a serious look a Lavar Arrington for
obvious reasons...their Defense is a Joke. AJ Hawk is a beast.

(6) 6. 49ers - TRADED TO: Texans
TEXANS: Michael Huff FS, TEXAS

The Texans picked up some extra picks and trade down to get the
player that they wanted all along. Local SuperStar CB/FS
who will fill the Texans Biggest Need at Safety.

(7) 7. Raiders- TRADED TO: SAINTS
SAINTS: Vernon Davis TE, MARYLAND

The Saints also picked up extra picks and get Vernon Davis here.
Think for a second...when Drew Brees was a star in San Diego who
who was his favorite target? Antonio Gates...and Vernon Davis
has more upside than anyone to ever play the TE position.

(Cool 8. Bills- Haloti Ngata DT, OREGON

There was a hole big enough to fit a tank through their defensive
line last season after losing their star DT in free agency. Ngata
or Bunkley?

(9) 9. Lions- Jimmy Williams FS, V-Tech

They didn't expect V.Young to still be available here,
so they regret signing McCown and Kitna for a second...then
they realise that Jimmy Williams will add legitimacy to their
secondary and keep the pick.

(10) 10. Cards- TRADED TO: Ravens
RAVENS: Vince Young QB, TEXAS

The Phone would be ringing off the hook now for Vince Young.
The Browns, Ravens, Broncos, Vikings, Cowboys, Bucs, Cheifs,
Jets...would all be looking at Vince Young being under-valued
at #10. The Cards #1 player is Not available and decide to trade
down to pick up an extra pick. the ravens had the best offer
because the cards didn't have to trade down far. The Ravens
added a new and needed dimension to the Running Game...clock control
offense.

(11) 11. Rams- Tye Hill CB, CLEMSON

A bit of a reach, but with Williams off the board the Rams still
go to their #1 need since the begining of the 21st century.
Tye Hill is a little undersized but he is a burner with great
football instincts.

(12) 12. Browns- Broderick Bunkley DT, FLST

The Browns entire Defensive line is now is Denver...this pick
is obvious. If Ngata falls, then he is their pick here.

(13) 13. Ravens- TRADED TO: Cardinals
CARDINALS: Winston Justice OT, USC

The Cards wanted Jimmy Williams at #10 but since he was taken
at #9 the Cards settle on trading down, picking up more picks and
adding an Anchor Left Tackle to protect Warner and thier
NEW Super Powered Offense.

(14) 14. Eagles- Manny Lawson SLB, NCST

Manny is one of the most versitile Defenders in this draft and
a great athlete with blazing speed. The Eagles have a huge need
at Slb and Manny Lawson would be a monster in that position.

(15) 15. Broncos- D'Angelo Williams RB, MEMPHIS

The Broncos take the Best Player Available. D'Angelo is one of the
greatest NCAA Running Backs of All Time. And lets face it,
Tatum Bell is fragile, Anderson is gone, and Dayne isnt an every
down back. D'Angelo would follow in the line of great Denver
Running Backs...TD and Portis.

(16) 16. Dolphins- Marcus Mcneill OT, AUBURN

They have their QB in Culpepper and might add Harrington to start
the season. Defense is a need, but McNeill is the last true
stud LT in the draft and an incredible value at #16.

(17) 17. Vikings- Jay Cutler QB, VANDERBUILT

A lot of people have Cutler as a top5 pick, however I remember
the Aaron Rodgers experience from last season. The Vikings
do get a stud here at 17...but he needs some work. Brad Johnson
will be around for at least 2 more seasons.

(1Cool 18. Cowboys- Donte Whitner S, Ohio St.

The Cowboys need to sure up their Secondary to complete their
transition into a moster defense. Next to Roy Williams, Donte
will be able to be the Ball Hawk that he is and pick up a ton
of interceptions. Whitner could be the DROY.

(19) 19. Chargers- Eric Winston OT, Miami

The Chargers need a fast versitile and powerful Left Tackle to
lead the way for L.T. If Winston didn't get injured he would have
been a sure top 10 pick.

(20) 20. Chiefs- Chad Jackson WR, FLORIDA

The Chiefs have a lot of weapons in their passing game, but a
true tall fast #1 WR isn't one of them. Chad Jackson is the
real deal and doesn't follow in the line of Florida Recievers under
the Spurrier System.

(21) 21. Patriots- Chad Greenway OLB, IOWA

They need to rebuild their defense through this draft and
find Greenway, the Moster LB of Iowa...and next Urlacher
still available at #21. This is a no brainer.

(22) 22. Broncos- Kamerion Wimbley DE, FSU

Great Combine and Work-out have moved Wimbley into the first
round and ahead of Kiwanuka. I think the Broncos D-line is
pretty solid after this pick.

(23) 23. Buccs - Andrew Whitworth OT, LSU

Great Workouts and Scott's dissapointing post season have pushed
Whitworth up the boards. Defense is a need, but don't forget
about Brooks in the supplemental. The o-line is the biggest need
and must be addressed first before the talent gets any thinner in
this draft.

(24) 24. Bengals- Ko Simpson FS, SCU

He has an instict to find the ball in the air like none other
in this draft. With training could turn out to be the Ed Reed of
this draft.

(25) 25. Giants- Antonio Cromartie CB, FLST

Huge Upside Potential! Tall, Fast, and Instictive...the injury
is the only reason he doesn't go higher...and wouldn't last past
the bears with the next pick. Lb is a need, but I think they
found the LB they need in the 2nd Round. These 2 players in this
order is best case senario for the Gints.

(26) 26. Bears- Santonio Holmes WR, OSU

Small and Fast and runs great rounds and can go deep. If he was
about 5 inches taller and could jump higher he would be a top
10 pick. The last time that Mushin was combined with a small
fast WR (ssmith) the Passing Game was almost un-stop-able!

(27) 27. Panthers- Demeco Ryans OLB, ALABAMA

The Pathers could use help at Outside Lb and Demeco would be
the perfect fit. He is a better football player and is taller
than Earnie Sims...Sims is smaller, faster, stronger ... but
Demeco is the better all around package and is more NFL ready.

(2Cool 28. Jaguars- Ernie Sims OLB, FSU

Strong and Fast, and his size isn't his only downside...but
the Jaguars get a solid OLB and with good coaching could
become a vital component of the Jaguars run at the super bowl.

(29) 29. Jets- Max-Jean Gilles OG, GEORGIA

The Jets know that Gilles doesn't make it to them in the next round
and take him here. Obviously Offensive line is going to be
a theme for New yorks draft this year.

(30) 30. Colts- Lawrence Maroney RB, MINN

They lost Edge but end up with a Younger and Cheaper version
of the speedy yet powerful RB that their offense has had with
Edge. The Colts don't lose a step with this pick and can still
make a run at the AFC Championship this season...and save $$$ !

(31) 31. Seahawks- Mathias Kiwanuka DE, BOSTON Coll.

He was one of the top 5 after last season and looking back he
has to regret coming back to school for another season. It cost
him millions! But despite his lack luster season I don't see him
slipping any further than this pick. The Seahawks have an immediate
need at Gaurd, but the next group of guards all have similar ratings.
Mathias has benefited from Tamba Hali not performing as well as
expected in the post season.

(32) 32. Steelers- Lendale White RB, USC

I don't care about his Hamstring...He is the next Bus, and the
Steelers would be complete idiots to let him slide into the
second round. Willie Parker and Duce Staley is a disaster
waiting to happen in goal line situations.

SECOND ROUND
-----------------------------------------

(33) 1. Texans -Nick Mangold C, OSU
(34) 2. Saints -D.Q. Jackson MLB, Maryland
(35) 3. Jets -Jonathan Scott OT, TEXAS
(36) 4. Packers -Maurice Stovall WR, NOTRE DAME

I'm going to explain this pick because a lot of people hate it.
Maurice Stovall is the next Javon Walker...because his time left
with the team is short. Say their is a miracle and he's still
with the team after next season then the Packers will have a
2 tall fast go getters on offense for heir apperent Aaron Rodgers.

(37) 5. 49ers -Jonathon Joseph CB, South Carolina
(3Cool 6. Raiders -Bobby Carpenter OLB, OSU
(39) 7. Titans -James Allen FS/CB, TENNESSEE
(40) 8. Lions -Gabe Watson DT, MICHIGAN
(41) 9. Cards -Leonard Pope TE, GEORGIA
(42) 10. Bills -Sinorice Moss WR, MIAMI

(43) 11. Browns -Ashton Youboty CB, OSU
(44) 12. Ravens -Tamba Hali DE, PSU
(45) 13. Eagles -Davin Joseph OG, OKLAHAMA
(46) 14. Rams -Darnell Bing SS, USC
(47) 15. Falcons -Richard Marshall CB, fresno st.

(4Cool 16. Vikings -Thomas Howard OLB, UTEP
(49) 17. Cowboys -T. Lutui OG, USC
(50) 18. Chargers -Pat Watkins S FSU
(51) 19. Vikings -Brian Calhoun RB, WISCONIN

Yes You Do Need a Running Back! Despite his slow combine has
run well in workouts in the 4.4 range. He will join the comittee
now that Bennett is gone.

(52) 20. Patriots -Danieal Manning FS/CB, AbC
(53) 21. Redskins -Mercedes Lewis TE, USC
(54) 22. Chiefs -Kelly Jennings CB, MIAMI
(55) 23. Bengals -Ray Edwards DE, PURDUE
(56) 24. Giants -Jon Alston OLB, Stanford
(57) 25. Bears -Alan Zemaitis CB, PENN ST.

(5Cool 26. Panthers -Dominique Byrd TE, USC
(59) 27. Buccs -Abdul Hodge MLB, IOWA
(60) 28. Jaguars -Joseph Addai RB, LSU
(61) 29. Broncos -Derek Hagan WR, ARIZONA
(62) 30. Colts -Rocky McIntosh OLB, Miami

(63) 31. Seahawks -Chris Spencer OG, Pitt
(64) 32. Steelers -G. Eslinger C, Minn.

I know you put alot of work in this but you messed up big time with the Saints.

Did the Saints just give the Raiders the #2 pick for #7? What did the trade involve?

Because the Raiders still have their 2nd. 3rd, and so on. That's stupid.

Also, I really like Vernon Davis but I'd rather Ngata. He fills more of a need for the Saints. Also, Bress through to Gates because they didn't have any WRs.

Jackson in the 2nd is good.

Cook is a reach in the 4th. I'd rather Mahelona if we keep the Davis pick. Also, no way Demetrius Williams falls to the 2nd day.

Don't like the Reddick pick in the 5th. I'd rather Butler or Blackmon.

Good 6th round picks but Anthony Smith won't last that long.

You missed on a bunch of players. Either reaching or letting them drop too far.

Also, what the heck was the Saints deal?

Did you let the Raiders just trade up for nothing? If you did, this makes this mock worthless.

(50) 18. Chargers -Pat Watkins S FSU

(151) 18. Chargers -Nick Reid LB, Kansas
(187) 18. Chargers Kyle Williams DT LSU
(188) 19. Chargers Jonathan Orr WR, WISCONSIN

Overall a very good Charger draft. Pick by pick:

1.) Winston is a great pick, you won't hear an arguement from me.
2.) Watkins might be a reach at 50, but if it looks like he won't make it to our 3rd round pick, I wouldn't be surprised if we took him. Good pick.
3.) Since Zemaitis is off the board, Webb is a good pick.
4.) Good value pick here.
5.) Nick Reid? I personally think he goes undrafted, but meh.
6a.) Another guy I think goes undrafted
6b.) Great pick

I did not go into detail with my trades because if i was wrong that would mess up my whole draft...this way if i am wrong then only the 1st round is messed up... Its like hedging your bets.

Please just ASSUME that the trade was for FAIR VALUE. thank you.

Also Remember that on draft day teams do make reaches and good players do slide. but you already know that.

It'll only throw you off a couple of picks. Maybe 2 r 3. Is 2 or 3 picks worth not posting because you don't want to "mess up"? Also, I doubt 2 or 3 picks will "mess up" your whole draft.

If you're going to predict a trade, invovle picks because it makes it look like Raiders are trading up for nothing.

They get to keep all their picks and get Leinart.

That's more dumb then not announcing the trade.

Either make a trade with picks or don't make one at all.

This is laughable without any traded picks.

round2-decent pick but i would rather have rocky

giants grade: D-

Let me explain this. YES the Giants need help at LB. They also need a
shut em down CB. Face it, you don't have a Champ Bailey on your team... thats exactly what you are getting here. He is tall, fast, and instictive. When he's 100% healthy I would have him after Anrell Rolle but before Pac Man in last seasons draft.

The LB problem can be solved with Jon Alston. He is a beast and has had an amazing post season combine and work-outs. I can really see the Giants falling in love with this guy. Strong Fast and Explosive.

u dont draft a 3-4 DE at #4. hes not gonna be as good as Peppers or Freeney in the Jets defensive system. and Bryan Thomas is not a bust, he hasnt seen the field much bc we had Abraham.
MJG is a good pick but he wont be a starter bc we have Kendall and Moore.
i would rather have Bobby Carpenter than Jon Scott.
Rod Wright or John McCargo, either is good.
Brodie Croyle is good bc he's the next Joe Namath if he plays for the Jets.
y do u have them taking 2 guards? give them DeGory or Oliver Hoyte.
give them Steve Fifita for NT instead of Todd Watkins.
if Kai Parham is in the 5th give him to the Jets, many teams would take him in the 3rd. same thing with Anthony Fasano.

i expected a better mock from a Jets fan.

I really don't think that this is too complicated for you to understand.
Please don't try to prove me wrong. Just accept it for what it is, and assume that the trade was for fair value. its easy.

Then there's no point for you to make this.

It's unrealistic.

The dumbest thing I've ever heard of.

Can you give the Saints the first 5 picks with all of their other picks and just assume they traded for fair value?

It's pretty much what you're doing.

Good work making a 6th round mock. However, the Dolphins draft is horrible, which I'm not surprised because it was made by a jets fan. but anyways;

1- Marcus Mcneil- way way way too early. plus we signed lj shelton and resigned damion mcintosh. tackle is NOT a need. we need a safety/corner or a linebacker.
3- the guard from usc- fine
4-whoever the runningback was- we DO NOT need a runningback. We took a runningback #2 overall last year, plus resigned travis minor and sammy morris. and ricky still might come back. runningback is probably the last position we need.

so overall not too good for the phins.

Awesome work on doing a 6 rounder, I did a 7 rounder once and I couldn't think for the rest of the day. However...

I have problems with this Bills draft.

Ngata or Bunkley you asked in the first, well why not include Winston Justice in that question? Marv has took a public liking to the USC OT, and we need a big upgrade over Mike Gandy at LT.

In the 2nd, Sinorice Moss, or any receiver, will be the pick. Lee Evans, Roscoe Parrish, Andre Davis, Peerless Price, Josh Reed. That's 5 guys who want the ball, and no way in hell we add a 6th, not when we have glaring needs at DT, LT, CB, and FS... and even a MLB to come in when London leaves us. Sinorice is 5-7, that would give us 4 of our top 6 receivers under 6 feet (Evans 5-11, Price 5-11, Parrish 5-9). Our tallest WR is 6-1, so if we did draft a WR, I think it'd be a tall one, we've got enough speedsters.

I like Minter in the 3rd, so good job.
I don't like O'Callaghan in the 3rd. All of you guys think RT needs an upgrade just because the guy used to be a TE in college. But as a matter of fact, Jason Peters was our best offensive lineman last year, and he's only going to get better. O'Callaghan is a big fat clone of Mike Williams, and only plays RT, so no thank you to that.

I like Gerris Wilkinson in the 4th.

In the 5th, you have us drafting two more RT's, which is completely non-sensical when you have the Bills drafting O'Callaghan in the 3rd... i could say taking one of these two in the 5th, without taking o'callaghan in the 3rd would be a good pick, to come in and backup Peters. With the other I'd look at safety or a DT or an LT.

Again, the whole receiver thing in the 6th... I like Skyler Green a lot, i just really thing it's not going to happen. We still have guys like Sam Aiken and Jonathan Smith on the roster at WR that I didnt mention before, they are itching to play as well, so we have 7 receivers on roster already, so I really highly doubt that we take a WR in the draft.

I stand by my mock. I think that Thomas is a bust...there's a reason he hasn't been on the field. I would rather have Gilles than Kendall or Moore. Jon Scott is a little bit of a reach but sures up a weak spot. Wright is he plays up to his potential would be able to fill the NT spot. Todd Watkins is an incredible athlete and a value pick. Kai Parham is slow
and benefited from people running away from ahmad brooks. Other MLB's have moved up since the combine and work-outs. that means Kai is gonna slide.

Jets fan ... good catch on the 2 guards thing. thank you. Obviously the pick at 103 should be Mike DeGory C Florida.
