There is always like 3 games that we lose that we could have won, and then one game we should win that we lose. _________________

Since we're less than a week before the first game, which freshman is going to get the most carries on the team, after Amir Pinnix? _________________

Well there is a kid that was scouted my Minnesota his name was Kyle Minet from around Russle Tyler Ruthten but his grades sucked, so he didnt go there, I would have said him, now he is going to SDSU( South Dakota State University) he had like 2,500 yards in 1 year. But know I will say Brylee Callender will have the next most yards, but the fresman will be E.J. Jones dang this guy is a stud _________________ Artist Of The Month of February

Well, you can cross another name off the list:
_________________________________________________________
In a bizarre final twist to a rocky and short tenure, Gophers running back Brylee Callender has transferred to the University of Nevada and will start classes there next week...
...Callender said he decided to transfer because he didn't feel the coaching staff had confidence in him.
"I respect the coaches because they did a lot for me," he said by phone from Reno, Nev. "But I don't think they believed in me. They thought I had a subpar spring, and I just don't think they had confidence in me."

If John Clay had a asingle brain cell then he wouldnt think twice about coming to Minnesota. NO depth and a run based coach he would become a star in two years. _________________

Some people actually thing Clay is going to outgrow running back and play D. He's already about 6'2 220 and he has a huge frame to get even bigger. _________________

Yes, but he's a lock to Wisconsin. And, he's from Wisconsin.
Wisconsin, like Minnesota, doesn't have trouble developing high school running-backs into great college running-backs. Also, he'd certainly get early playing time in Madison as well. I really can't argue against the logic of him staying in-state. _________________

The game tonight is versus the woeful Kent State football team...it's going to be ugly...I say it will be about 52-13, Gophers. _________________

I don't want to jump the gun, but our questions about how the RBs will do without Maroney/Russell/Setterstrom/Eslinger appear to be answered.
Amir Pinnix - 6'0", 195 lb, Jr. - 16 carries, 117 yards (7.3 average), 1 TD
Alex Daniels- 6'3", 260 lb, So- 25 carries, 155 yards (6.2 average), 3 TDs
Impressive stats to begin with, but consider this:
-Pinnix was the #3 runningback last year.
-Daniels was our starting middle linebacker about a month ago.
-Daniels is 6'3", 260 pounds.
-Both of them figure to return next year. _________________ -- Kansas State University, 2013 -- |

man, i really wanted to watch this game today. found out it was only on ESPN 360, but I listened to some of it on the radio, sounded like this..."Hand-off to Daniels, takes it up the middle, breaks a tackle and spins around, runs over another would be tackler, TOUCHDOWN GOPHERS!!!!" I can not wait to see him play. _________________
