Ernie Nevers one the best player ever before the 50's: played with the Duluth Eskimos. Far better than Jim thorpe or Red Grange. |

| Jerry Rice put up numbers like no one else has at his position. 100 TDs was a very elite club and he blew past that. Of course Randy Moss has been very simialr through 7 years. |

| Barry Sanders was the best football player ever to put on pads. You held your breathe everytime he made his first cut. The only player in the passing era of the NFL that you would call a counter on 3rd and 10. (and he would pick it up 7 out of 10 times) Nobody better in my eyes! |

| Jim Brown, hands down the best runningback ever. You held your breath everytime for Barry Sanders because he was exciting to watch, but the best? It was sad to see him retire, but this is also the man that leads the NFL in most negative yards from scrimmage. He was exciting and a game changer, but he would hurt his team too. I think Randy Moss has a chance of being the best to ever play if he just gets his attitude in line. I mean he's already ahead of Rice's numbers and there's no sign of slowing him down. We'll see how he does without the Vikes offense and Daunte. |
