Mike Williams..... our defense is pretty much set now And we could use a great tall physical reciever to bully opposing corners.

before I was all set on DJ, but now that we have Cowart (and I realize he's a MLB and DJ's an OLB, but that's not why I changed my opinion) I don't know... see, when you have a proven Veteran to teach these 2 younger guys who have the potential to be great, it's hard to decide if you want to get the one who could be even greater or something we need at a different position more...

I dunno. I'm voting Mike Williams, but it's like... gah that's hard. Good luck Vikings brass

dang, we might have to take up a collection for andrew, the vikes' choice permutations have drained him.

i've gone back and forth a few times too over all this, but now lean to mike williams, an astounding athlete with a great team attitude. both his skills and his desire would fit into how the vikes' team personality has taken shape over the last 2-3 weeks.

DJ, I like Williamson and Clayton...DJ is special though. I've seen him play.

I thought Dj all offseason because i figured me would get Plaxico. And at the time i said they have to get one Great LB and one Great WR to make this team unstoppable. I'm not saying Cowart is great but he def. is good enough to help the defense. Now i think we need that great WR and it's MIKE WILLIAMS.

before the pickup of Cowart, I'd have said DJ hands down... but I think with Cowart playing the leadership role, and helping Thomas or EJ be where they need to be, they'll be a lot better... NOT as good as DJ would, but the problem is Mike Williams would have more effect than DJ would, as there is more "need" at WR than at LB

Honestly my personal draft board looks like this

1) Mike Williams
2) Derrick Johnson
3) Braylon Edwards
4) Shawne Merriman

from there its pretty grey, but I think those 4 guys are really the standout guys that should be the Vikings primary choices.

Mike Williams and DJ will be special players on any team they play for, I just think in the Vikings situation now, they *need* Mike Williams more than they need DJ.

But dont get me wrong, I wish they would have signed Plaxico, so they could take DJ, and not take Mike Williams/Braylon Edwards.... so I really would have LIKED Derrick Johnson, but the problem is, I like Cowart enough and the other LBs enough, that I feel the more necessary aspect is WR, and Mike Williams offers more.
