At first I was ready to rip into the writers for just rehashing the Michael Scott Paper Company storyline, but now I'm intrigued about the Andy and Wallace pairing and how they can fix Dunder Mifflin.
The last line got me thinking too. I wonder what will be happening in 6 months. |
My thoughts exactly. This was actually a really good episode. |
Haha, ditto!! I was like maaaaannn, Andy's own paper company?? But Im into it now too
What I like the most about the storyline is that it looks like Nelly will be gone soon enough, so maybe the whole point is that we all hated her to begin with haha. |
Loved the blasts from the past. A Jim/Dwight team, Big Red is just like MSPC and I liked David Wallace _________________

Really loved this episode except for the whole attempt to make you feel sorry for Nellie thing. Don't give a damn that she overspends and thinks anyone would let her adopt a child. _________________

David Wallace is awesome. I like when last episode he said he was able to sell Suck It to the army. I laughed at that. _________________

Good to see David Wallace back in the show for what seems to be a permanent role. I always liked him and hated it when he left.
And Robert California going to seek out uneducated European gymnasts. _________________ Martellus Bennet highlight video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lP8fHN53t0 |

So Robert California was just a con artist, right? We don't know his real name? _________________

I feel like Gabe is the new Toby. Everyone craps on him like Michael did to Toby. Kinda like Meg from Family Guy.
Interesting way to end the season though. Oh and Angela is a harlot _________________

This show is such utter crap now.
Watched season 2 over the last week and the quality now is nothing short of disgusting compared to what the show used to be.
We got Jim's love story out of the way. Michael's out of the way. Erin and Andy's out of the way. Now it's on to Darrell and renewing Dwight and Angela's.
They are just throwing ish against the wall at this point. No rhyme or reason. _________________

So I just saw a preview for a show on Fox that will premiere in the fall with Kelly and Andy in it. I guess they're not returning to The Office... _________________ Martellus Bennet highlight video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lP8fHN53t0 |

They are just throwing ish against the wall at this point. No rhyme or reason. | It's on the decline for sure, as many are quick to point out. It probably would have been for the best if the 8th season arc would've been about wrapping the show up. I like Erin and Andy as characters but their relationship seemed more forced over the years, either because of the Michael Scott void or because after so long a writing team on a great show will simply lose steam. The writers seem tired and and ready to embrace other projects, what with Mindy K. working on her own show and Robert California (finally) leaving. And the whole Dwight spin-off. The way they've grappled for plot lines (Gettysburg) and relied on guest stars (DeAngelo Vickers) seems tacky to me. The way they handled Steve Carrell leaving smacks of desperation in hindsight, IMO. Love the characters, but I'd like it if everyone involved would realize they're past their prime and would just call it a day. _________________ Dallas Cowboys 2012

BJ Novak is taking a break and I think I read Toby is leaving to do a spin off with Dwight.
So we'll have Jim & Pam and the Nard dog left. _________________
