Stanton is not a top 5 QB. Losing to lowly Illinois might've dropped him out of the first round too. Brohm should at least be a top 10 and I think he's a better prospect than Quinn. I love Ginn Jr. but he's not a top 5 pick, Rice and Jarrett are much more polished receivers.
I actually like the Rams pick of Gaines Adams because he'd be a great value pick and Little is aging and Hargrove may get let go and Adeyanju is only decent.
Players I'd want the most though are:
Calvin Johnson (would take an impossible trade to get him)
Sidney Rice
Dwayne Jarrett
LaRon Landry
Brandon Meriweather
Patrick Willis

Romo has done well behind Bledsoe. I would be ecstatic if Peterson fell to us. _________________

| I think that if the Spartans season doesn't turn around Stanton will probably drop to the late first or early second round. |

Wrong on Kitna. Link: http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20061006/SPORTS01/610060327/1049
"I knew there wasn't going to be a controversy coming in because Kitna's so smart," wide receiver Roy Williams said. "This offense just makes him at the top. Look at the stats. He's either at the top or right behind Peyton Manning."
Kitna has looked comfortable in offensive coordinator Mike Martz's complicated, explosive system. He ranks first in the NFL in completions (9 , second in attempts (150), and third in yards (1,081) -- behind Donovan McNabb (1,248) and Manning (1,112).
At this rate, Kitna will have one of the best seasons -- if not the best season -- for a quarterback in Lions history. He is on pace to go 392-for-600 for 4,324 yards.
Wrong on Stanton
Unless Stanton, somehow gets his completion % way up, turns around the way his team is playing, puts the stickum on the WRs himself (lots of drops), runs for 100 yds per game (lost one of his leading skill players in Ringer), and blocks for himself; this is another Spartan QB season made in purgatory. I like Stanton, and feel his misery, but he will not be a top 10 pick. Cutler was the better QB and he didn't go top 10.
You can keep on going with the misguided attempts to put a QB in Detroit via the 1st round, but Lion fans will keep telling you that you're wrong. At what point do other team's fans start believing we know whereof we speak? |

Love your Chargers pick. A big bad bruising pure SS is excactly what the Chargers need IMO. If Rouse can really run a 4.44 as reported he will definitely be a first rounder (barring any serious character issues). _________________
