|
|
|
Trades-
-New England’s Deion Branch to Seattle for 1st round draft pick
-Oakland’s Randy Moss to Atlanta for Matt Schaub and a 3rd round draft pick
-Minnisota trades their 1st and 4th to New England for their 1st
1. Oakland Raiders- WR Calvin Johnson
The Raiders recieve Matt Schaub in a trade so no need for a QB; Moss was involved in the trade so they take the best WR in the draft.
2. Detroit Lions- QB Brady Quinn
No explanation needed.
3. Arizona Cardinals- OT Joe Thomas
E.James has looked HORRIBLE because of his line and its hard to make him look horrible. They will not get anything done if there O-Line doesn't step up... this pick won't even be enough to help them they will need key FA's and this pick...
4. Miami Dolphins- S LaRon Landry
They clearly need secondary help. This is the best S in the draft and will be a good pick for the Dolphins.
5. Tennessee Titans- WR Dwayne Jarrett
They have their QB of the future, have their RB of the future, all they need now is a WR of the future.
6. Houston Texans- RB Adrian Peterson
This pick will make the passing on Reggie look good. He will be their franchise RB for years and years to come.
7. Cleveland Browns- QB Drew Stanton
I am not a great beliver in Frye even if he has a bad line... They probably will go O-line but if he keeps playing bad, I think they will draft a QB.
8. Green Bay Packers- RB Marshawn Lynch
Green will be a FA and is old. They missed Peterson but get the second best thing.
9. San Francisco 49ers- DE Quintin Moses
They anchored there offense, now they will anchore the defense with this solid pick-up.
10. Buffalo Bills- QB Trent Edwards
This years Jay Cutler. Losman looked good in his first couple games but is going back to his origanal form. Unless he becomes good again for the rest of the season, he is as good as gone.
11. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- DE Gaines Adams
They have a QB of the future in Bruce and their D-Line is aging. They pick up this stud to help them for the future.
12. Washington Redskins- CB Leon Hall
The secondary is not very good and they clearly need a franchise CB. They pick the best corner in the draft to improve their secondary for years to come.
13. Kansas City Chiefs- DT Frank Okam
The Cheifs just got rid of there old run stuffer and are going to need to fill his shoes. They go with the big guy Frank Okam to fill this spot.
14. Minnesota Vikings- ILB Patrick Willis
The Vikings trade with the Pats to hop over the Steelers to pick up their ILB they've been longing for without worrying about the Steelers taking him.
15. Pittsburg Steelers- ILB Buster Davis
They would probably trade down but I have them taking him here. They were longing for Willis but the Vikes traded over them to snaag Willis. This fills a big need at ILB for the Steel City.
16. New England Patriots (via Seattle)- S Michael Griffin
Michael Griffin is their future prospect. The secondary is always pointed at as a need so they pick up Griffin to add talent, depth, and their future. (Seattle fell down this far because of the key losses: Hasselbeck and Alexander)
17. New York Jets- DT Alan Branch
Their run D is horrible and they need someone to play NT to stuff the run. This pick will make all the defensive players look better and will have Vilma jumping up and down with excitement and happyness.
18. St. Louis Rams- S Antoine Cason
Meriweather would have been a good pick here but he falls because of the Miami incedent.
19. Atlanta Falcons- DT Quinn Pitcock
Grady Jackson is old and he was picked up for just this season to fill a big whole. Now, they draft one of the best DT's to anchure that whole for years to come.
20. Philadelphia Eagles- CB Darrelle Revis
Their safteys are getting older and they need some depth at conrner. I think they draft him and move him to saftey instead of picking Rouse or Meriweather.
21. Carolina Panthers- OLB Paul Posluszny
The loss of MOrgan hurts them a lot so they pick up one of the best linebackers simular to the hard hitting Morgan for the future.
22. Cincinnati Bengals- DE/LB Lamar Woodley
They need a little help at LB and pick this talented stud that fell all the way down to them. He should have gone in the first 10-20.
23. New York Giants- OT Levi Brown
Their line has looked terible and they deffenitly need help on it. They pick up a DT in FA consittering they were behind DT hungry teams in the draft.
24. San Diego Chargers- WR Tedd Ginn Jr.
They have been longing for a talented WR for a long time. Finnally, a very talented one delares at the right time and is drafted by a team that may very well be the 2008 SB champs.
25.Dallas Cowboys- OT Jake Long
No explantion needed.
26. Jacksonville Jaguars- OLB Earl Everett
Missed out on Woodley so they draft the next best LB to help their defense in Everett.
27. New Orleans Saints- ILB H.B. Blades
They need some depth at LB and are lacking a talented MLB. They draft Blades to fill that hole, making them an even better team.
28. New England Patriots- WR Sidney Rice
They drafted Jackson last year but are still lacking young talent so they go with another WR in Rice which may mean Brown finnally retires.
29. Denver Broncos- S Aaron Rouse
Pass on Meriweather due to Miami incedent and pick up Rouse for the future. Safties in Denver are getting older so they bring in a young guy to take over.
30. Baltimore Ravens- RB Kenny Irons
Lewis has not proven to be a great RB after the drug problems so Ravens finnally say good-bye and pick up this talented young back they can end up being very successful in the NFL.
31. Indianapolis Colts- S Brandon Meriweather
Indianapolis has been having many S problems and then Meriweather falls to them. He is probably the sencond most talented safty but fell due to the Miami incident. The Colts give him a shot to shine in Indianapolis.
32. Chicago Bears- TE Zach Miller
They upgrade thier TE position making them an even more talented team on both sides of the ball. _________________

Bad pick here for the Titans and a huge reach.
We would be able to pick up a pretty good CB/S in the 2nd round so I see no need of drafting one in the 1st round when Leon Hall is even rated over McCauley right now...
Better picks would be Adrian Peterson, Quentin Moses, Gaines Adams. _________________

Atlanta would nto make the trade unless it was Randy for Schaub straight up. _________________

In case you weren't aware, the Bengals have the undisputed best OT tandem in the league. Willie Anderson is a Pro Powler and Levi Jones was an alternate last year, but should have been in. Not to mention they are paying them both over $5 mil. a year. Also, they drafted Andrew Whitworth in the second round last year. They are as likely to take a QB or WR as they are OT. The Bengals will almost certainly take defense in the first few rounds. DE, DT, or maybe S or LB. _________________ Tired of having to put down five stacks to get a crispy new ride? Decent Vikings pick, but we already have a guy with great speed in Troy Williamson. I think Patrick Willis or trading down are better options. _________________

nope, Charlie hasn't even completed a full season...and there is no point in judging him, many mistakes he has made are due to poor o-line and wr play...
the cleveland offense is so predictable it seems as if he doesnt have a chance
that being said...other needs on this team...
3-4 dlineman
O-lineman (no center)
or maybe even a corner...but thats if theres none of the previous two worthy of the pick |

I think Marshawn Lynch would be great for the Pack, and would fill a need, plus give them some firepower on offense since we've been losing players to injury left and right. |

Cleveland is not going to take a QB in the first round. Until the line is fixed we'd just be trying to kill more QB's. I think we fix the line first and hopefully Frye will still be in one piece. _________________ You show me a good loser, and I'll show you a loser
