Gates - they each only have 5 catches on the year. And both are extreme projects, and are still a few years away from being productive. Samardzjia comes from a pro system at ND and can step in right away and make an impact. Jackson and Floyd aren't close in talent level compared to Jeff, and he would be a major upgrade to the receiving corps. And Ginn is a project as well, he is not as polished as Jeff. |
I agree with everything you said. However, I will stand by my judgement that the Chargers will take Ginn if he is availible and reciever is #1 on our priority list. Jonathan Joseph was clearly the most ready between him and Cromartie, but Cromartie has the intanglebles that our coaching staff really liked.
I think it is similar this year. While Jeff might be ready, Ginn is just too great a talent. I still don't know if we will even want to draft a reciever, but if we do we will probably have our eye on Ginn.
EDIT: If Jarrett falls to us (since the Eagles don't want him), then yeah, he would definitly be taken over Ginn or Jeff.

I can guarantee you that that Colts pick will not happen. Give us Aaron Rouse. _________________

Excellent Vikings pick, but if Jarrett was available we would take him. _________________

| As far as the Saints, they much rather draft a Paul Pozluzny LB or Brandon Siler LB they fit more into N.O. scheme. |

Vikings - I will take that into consideration when I update this mock.
RedSea - Poz was gone by the Saints pick in this mock, But I will consider putting in Siler when I update _________________

I like that Vikings pick a whole lot. He would be great to have along with Williamson for the future. _________________ Gnat's Movie Reviews
