Ok, I'm sure no one is going to like this one yet, but it'll get better, and I will be adding a third round fairly soon, I just want to get some feedback on the first two rounds. Decent 1st round pick, but we have alot invested in Smoot and Winfield and I think there are bigger need right now. I like the 2nd rounder, but I think Robert Mecham is a better value. _________________

Ginn and Young to The Niners is HONESTLY one of the DUMBEST mocks yet...no offense, but those are terrible picks...we need ALL D...unless we get CJ.....plus...
MARK MY WORDS.....
Anthony Gonzales....will be GREATER than Ginn...
I promise!! _________________

On the CB I've heard too many things like this:
| Mossburg wrote: | I'd like to nominate a few CBs. Chris Gamble for giving up a 4th and 1 deep pass and then later on that drive the game winning TD. DeAngello Hall for getting "Fred Smooted" all over the Georgia Dome. And of course Fred Smoot for doing what he does best...
List your THIEVES for wek 7. |
So of course I figured CB highly, and he appears a good fit for a Tampa-2 Defense.
As far as the WR, I was looking for a more explosive WR than Meecham for you guys, but I'll keep that in mind when I adjust my mock.
As to the 49ers. I still think you need a legit #1 WR and Ginn is explosive. I think you need help all across the OL. I agree that the 49ers need defense, but I just didn't see good value. Who would you pick at those slots then? Don't say dumb and not give me better options.[/quote] _________________

Great lions picks. Taking thomas would allow us to move Backus to RT, and Martz will be able to develop Troy Smith behind Kitna. Nice job. _________________

Bad pick for the Titans.
People don't understand that we don't need a WR. We have a ton of young players for the future on our roster right now. Calvin Johnson would just be to good to pass on and that's why we would take him but other then that I don't think that we will take a WR in the 1st round...
Better picks would be either AP or Gaines Adams..
| Quote: | | 7 - Tennessee Titans - Rufus Alexander - LB - Oklahoma |
Another bad choice.
Our LB position might be solified for the future if Stephen Tulloch pans out for us so that we have him, Bulluck, and Thornton for the future...
Better picks would be Daymeion Hughes, Aaron Rouse, or Darrelle Revis. _________________

First off, thank you for the excellent, CONSTRUCTIVE help. As to the WR early, I had somewhat assumed Bennett was going to leave via FA making a Day 1 WR somewhat necessary. I don't see AP being the pick with White as your second last year, but anyone could take him.
As for the DB to Ten are you looking more CB or S?
And sorry about Miami, I'll fix that when the third round comes out. _________________

Raiders are not going to draft Quinn. Peterson or Johnson in the 1st. I really doubt that Alan Branch drops to the 2nd round, but if he does that is a great pick up for the Raiders. _________________

| Im not sure Gaither would fall that far, I certainly hope he wouldnt fall past Baltimore. Sam Baker is an acceptable pick none the less if you see him rising that far. I love Darrelle Revis in the 2nd round, he's one of my favorite prospects, but again, Im not sure he'd fall that far. |
