I'm curious to which teams need a huge upgrade at the placekicker position, and are going to draft Mike Nugent. I am confident that my panthers stick with Kasey.

i just have a question that im curious on......how did it end up that nugent was a set in stone pick to go to the vikes. in every mock i see on this board, he is going to the vikings. how did it end up that he was definitley going there? do the vikings have a major need at the kicker position and have expressed interest in nuge or did it just start by people on the board posting it and it made alot of sense......?

yes I would agree with you that kicker is the 2nd least important position but its still an important position...K's give you points dont they??

The Vikes have a major need at kicker and no big holes to fill. They have 2 first round picks and by the end of those 2 first rounders theyll have really filled their holes. That would leave kickeras by far their biggest remaining hole, so they would be dumb not to pick Mike Nugent. Theyve still got plenty of picks left in the draft they can use to add depth across the board, not that they dont have a pretty deep team already.

how did sebastian janikowski end up creeping into the middle of the 1st round as a kicker?
