Busy day as UFAs change teams... After several rather quiet weeks, yesterday was a very busy day on the NFL transaction wire as a number of unrestricted free agents signed on with new teams in moves which could very well impact how the new teams approach the early rounds of the 2005 draft. Leading the way was Tampa Bay which signed former Minnesota DT Chris Hovan. Other signings included Oakland which inked FB Rob Konrad (Miami) and DT Kenny Smith (New Orleans); Jackosonville which signed CB Kenny Wright (Houston); Carolina which signed FS Idrees Bashir (Indianapolis); St. Louis which added DT Jay Williams (Miami); and Buffalo which added OG Benny Anderson (Baltimore).
